1. Overview

At JR Copier, we stand behind the quality of our products and services. This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, exchanges, and refunds on copier purchases and services.

2. Equipment Purchases

New Equipment

  • Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery
  • Equipment must be in original packaging and unused condition
  • A 15% restocking fee may apply
  • Shipping costs for returns are the customer's responsibility

Refurbished Equipment

  • Returns accepted within 7 days of delivery
  • Equipment must be in the same condition as received
  • A 20% restocking fee may apply
  • All accessories and documentation must be included

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom-configured or special-order equipment
  • Consumables (toner, drums, maintenance kits) once opened
  • Equipment that has been damaged, modified, or shows signs of misuse
  • Software licenses once activated

4. Lease and Rental Equipment

  • Leased equipment cannot be returned outside of lease terms
  • Early lease termination fees apply as specified in your lease agreement
  • Rental equipment may be returned at the end of the rental period without penalty
  • Early rental returns may result in prorated charges

5. Defective Equipment

If you receive defective equipment:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • We will arrange for repair, replacement, or full refund at no cost to you
  • Defects discovered after 48 hours are covered under our warranty policy

6. Service Refunds

  • Service contracts may be cancelled with 30 days written notice
  • Prorated refunds available for unused service period
  • Installation fees are non-refundable once service is completed
  • Training fees are non-refundable once training is provided

7. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Credit card refunds may take 5-10 additional business days to appear

8. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for equipment that does not meet your needs:

  • Exchange requests must be made within 14 days of delivery
  • Equipment must be in original condition
  • Price differences will be charged or refunded accordingly
  • Exchange shipping costs may apply

9. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return or exchange:

  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
  4. Pack the equipment securely with all original accessories
  5. Ship to the address provided with your RMA
